CVE | Vendors | Products | Updated | CVSS v2 | CVSS v3 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
CVE-2007-6427 | 7 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 11 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 8 more | 2024-02-04 | 9.3 HIGH | N/A |
The XInput extension in X.Org Xserver before 1.4.1 allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via requests related to byte swapping and heap corruption within multiple functions, a different vulnerability than CVE-2007-4990. | |||||
CVE-2007-5729 | 3 Debian, Opensuse, Qemu | 3 Debian Linux, Opensuse, Qemu | 2024-02-04 | 7.2 HIGH | N/A |
The NE2000 emulator in QEMU 0.8.2 allows local users to execute arbitrary code by writing Ethernet frames with a size larger than the MTU to the EN0_TCNT register, which triggers a heap-based buffer overflow in the slirp library, aka NE2000 "mtu" heap overflow. NOTE: some sources have used CVE-2007-1321 to refer to this issue as part of "NE2000 network driver and the socket code," but this is the correct identifier for the mtu overflow vulnerability. | |||||
CVE-2007-1320 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 2 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Fedora Core and 3 more | 2024-02-04 | 7.2 HIGH | N/A |
Multiple heap-based buffer overflows in the cirrus_invalidate_region function in the Cirrus VGA extension in QEMU 0.8.2, as used in Xen and possibly other products, might allow local users to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors related to "attempting to mark non-existent regions as dirty," aka the "bitblt" heap overflow. | |||||
CVE-2007-6206 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 3 more | 12 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 9 more | 2024-02-04 | 2.1 LOW | N/A |
The do_coredump function in fs/exec.c in Linux kernel 2.4.x and 2.6.x up to 2.6.24-rc3, and possibly other versions, does not change the UID of a core dump file if it exists before a root process creates a core dump in the same location, which might allow local users to obtain sensitive information. | |||||
CVE-2007-5197 | 4 Debian, Mono, Opensuse and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Mono, Opensuse and 3 more | 2024-02-04 | 7.5 HIGH | N/A |
Buffer overflow in the Mono.Math.BigInteger class in Mono 1.2.5.1 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via unspecified vectors related to Reduce in Montgomery-based Pow methods. | |||||
CVE-2007-5000 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 7 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2024-02-04 | 4.3 MEDIUM | N/A |
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the (1) mod_imap module in the Apache HTTP Server 1.3.0 through 1.3.39 and 2.0.35 through 2.0.61 and the (2) mod_imagemap module in the Apache HTTP Server 2.2.0 through 2.2.6 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified vectors. | |||||
CVE-2020-28049 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Leap and 1 more | 2024-02-03 | 3.3 LOW | 6.3 MEDIUM |
An issue was discovered in SDDM before 0.19.0. It incorrectly starts the X server in a way that - for a short time period - allows local unprivileged users to create a connection to the X server without providing proper authentication. A local attacker can thus access X server display contents and, for example, intercept keystrokes or access the clipboard. This is caused by a race condition during Xauthority file creation. | |||||
CVE-2010-1772 | 5 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Google and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Chrome and 2 more | 2024-02-02 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
Use-after-free vulnerability in page/Geolocation.cpp in WebCore in WebKit before r59859, as used in Google Chrome before 5.0.375.70, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (application crash) via a crafted web site, related to failure to stop timers associated with geolocation upon deletion of a document. | |||||
CVE-2019-5736 | 13 Apache, Canonical, D2iq and 10 more | 19 Mesos, Ubuntu Linux, Dc\/os and 16 more | 2024-02-02 | 9.3 HIGH | 8.6 HIGH |
runc through 1.0-rc6, as used in Docker before 18.09.2 and other products, allows attackers to overwrite the host runc binary (and consequently obtain host root access) by leveraging the ability to execute a command as root within one of these types of containers: (1) a new container with an attacker-controlled image, or (2) an existing container, to which the attacker previously had write access, that can be attached with docker exec. This occurs because of file-descriptor mishandling, related to /proc/self/exe. | |||||
CVE-2019-1010006 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Gnome and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Evince and 1 more | 2024-02-02 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
Evince 3.26.0 is affected by buffer overflow. The impact is: DOS / Possible code execution. The component is: backend/tiff/tiff-document.c. The attack vector is: Victim must open a crafted PDF file. The issue occurs because of an incorrect integer overflow protection mechanism in tiff_document_render and tiff_document_get_thumbnail. | |||||
CVE-2020-15811 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more | 2024-02-02 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
An issue was discovered in Squid before 4.13 and 5.x before 5.0.4. Due to incorrect data validation, HTTP Request Splitting attacks may succeed against HTTP and HTTPS traffic. This leads to cache poisoning. This allows any client, including browser scripts, to bypass local security and poison the browser cache and any downstream caches with content from an arbitrary source. Squid uses a string search instead of parsing the Transfer-Encoding header to find chunked encoding. This allows an attacker to hide a second request inside Transfer-Encoding: it is interpreted by Squid as chunked and split out into a second request delivered upstream. Squid will then deliver two distinct responses to the client, corrupting any downstream caches. | |||||
CVE-2015-3629 | 2 Docker, Opensuse | 2 Libcontainer, Opensuse | 2024-02-02 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
Libcontainer 1.6.0, as used in Docker Engine, allows local users to escape containerization ("mount namespace breakout") and write to arbitrary file on the host system via a symlink attack in an image when respawning a container. |
