| CVE-2021-33287 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Tuxera | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Ntfs-3g | 2026-07-09 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
| In NTFS-3G versions < 2021.8.22, when specially crafted NTFS attributes are read in the function ntfs_attr_pread_i, a heap buffer overflow can occur and allow for writing to arbitrary memory or denial of service of the application. | |||||
| CVE-2026-12610 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 2 Sssd, Enterprise Linux | 2026-06-30 | N/A | 6.4 MEDIUM |
| A flaw was found in sssd. When authenticating with a YubiKey, the SSSD PAM responder can crash due to a use-after-free vulnerability, where a memory pointer is incorrectly handled. A local attacker could exploit this flaw by manipulating smartcard or YubiKey contents, leading to a denial of service that disrupts authentication. This vulnerability also presents a potential for privilege escalation, although it is difficult to exploit. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54230 | 3 Abrt Project, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Abrt, Fedora, Enterprise Linux | 2026-06-30 | N/A | 7.0 HIGH |
| A symlink following vulnerability was found in the ABRT post-create event handler scripts in libreport. Event scripts write output files using shell redirections without the O_NOFOLLOW flag. If the target file is replaced with a symlink, the shell process running as root follows the symlink and writes content to the symlink target, allowing arbitrary file overwrites on the system. | |||||
| CVE-2026-35093 | 2 Fedoraproject, Freedesktop | 2 Fedora, Libinput | 2026-06-30 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in libinput. A local attacker who can place a specially crafted Lua bytecode file in certain system or user configuration directories can bypass security restrictions. This allows the attacker to run unauthorized code with the same permissions as the program using libinput, such as a graphical compositor. This could lead to the attacker monitoring keyboard input and sending that information to an external location. | |||||
| CVE-2024-21626 | 2 Fedoraproject, Linuxfoundation | 2 Fedora, Runc | 2026-06-30 | N/A | 8.6 HIGH |
| runc is a CLI tool for spawning and running containers on Linux according to the OCI specification. In runc 1.1.11 and earlier, due to an internal file descriptor leak, an attacker could cause a newly-spawned container process (from runc exec) to have a working directory in the host filesystem namespace, allowing for a container escape by giving access to the host filesystem ("attack 2"). The same attack could be used by a malicious image to allow a container process to gain access to the host filesystem through runc run ("attack 1"). Variants of attacks 1 and 2 could be also be used to overwrite semi-arbitrary host binaries, allowing for complete container escapes ("attack 3a" and "attack 3b"). runc 1.1.12 includes patches for this issue. | |||||
| CVE-2026-54231 | 3 Abrt Project, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 3 Abrt, Fedora, Enterprise Linux | 2026-06-29 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A content injection vulnerability was found in the ABRT post-create event handler scripts in libreport. The event script queries the systemd journal for log entries matching the crashed process and writes the results to files in the dump directory without sanitizing embedded control characters. A local user can inject arbitrary content into the journal output by embedding newline characters in syslog messages, controlling the content that root writes to dump directory files. | |||||
| CVE-2023-40548 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 2 Fedora, Shim | 2026-06-26 | N/A | 7.4 HIGH |
| A buffer overflow was found in Shim in the 32-bit system. The overflow happens due to an addition operation involving a user-controlled value parsed from the PE binary being used by Shim. This value is further used for memory allocation operations, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow. This flaw causes memory corruption and can lead to a crash or data integrity issues during the boot phase. | |||||
| CVE-2023-46850 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Openvpn | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Openvpn and 1 more | 2026-06-23 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Use after free in OpenVPN version 2.6.0 to 2.6.6 may lead to undefined behavoir, leaking memory buffers or remote execution when sending network buffers to a remote peer. | |||||
| CVE-2023-6879 | 2 Aomedia, Fedoraproject | 2 Aomedia, Fedora | 2026-06-23 | N/A | 9.0 CRITICAL |
| Increasing the resolution of video frames, while performing a multi-threaded encode, can result in a heap overflow in av1_loop_restoration_dealloc(). | |||||
| CVE-2023-5380 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-06-23 | N/A | 4.7 MEDIUM |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the xorg-x11-server. An X server crash may occur in a very specific and legacy configuration (a multi-screen setup with multiple protocol screens, also known as Zaphod mode) if the pointer is warped from within a window on one screen to the root window of the other screen and if the original window is destroyed followed by another window being destroyed. | |||||
| CVE-2023-5367 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 12 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 9 more | 2026-06-23 | N/A | 7.8 HIGH |
| A out-of-bounds write flaw was found in the xorg-x11-server. This issue occurs due to an incorrect calculation of a buffer offset when copying data stored in the heap in the XIChangeDeviceProperty function in Xi/xiproperty.c and in RRChangeOutputProperty function in randr/rrproperty.c, allowing for possible escalation of privileges or denial of service. | |||||
