CVE-2020-1967 10 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 7 more 26 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 23 more 2024-02-04 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
Server or client applications that call the SSL_check_chain() function during or after a TLS 1.3 handshake may crash due to a NULL pointer dereference as a result of incorrect handling of the "signature_algorithms_cert" TLS extension. The crash occurs if an invalid or unrecognised signature algorithm is received from the peer. This could be exploited by a malicious peer in a Denial of Service attack. OpenSSL version 1.1.1d, 1.1.1e, and 1.1.1f are affected by this issue. This issue did not affect OpenSSL versions prior to 1.1.1d. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1g (Affected 1.1.1d-1.1.1f).

Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle HTTP Server. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 5.3 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L).

In Apache HTTP Server 2.4.32-2.4.39, when mod_remoteip was configured to use a trusted intermediary proxy server using the "PROXY" protocol, a specially crafted PROXY header could trigger a stack buffer overflow or NULL pointer deference. This vulnerability could only be triggered by a trusted proxy and not by untrusted HTTP clients.

Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle HTTP Server. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and while the vulnerability is in Oracle HTTP Server, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle HTTP Server accessible data as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle HTTP Server accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 6.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N).

CVE-2019-5443 4 Haxx, Microsoft, Netapp and 1 more 10 Curl, Windows, Oncommand Insight and 7 more 2024-02-04 4.4 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
A non-privileged user or program can put code and a config file in a known non-privileged path (under C:/usr/local/) that will make curl <= 7.65.1 automatically run the code (as an openssl "engine") on invocation. If that curl is invoked by a privileged user it can do anything it wants.
CVE-2019-0217 8 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 5 more 14 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 11 more 2024-02-04 6.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4 release 2.4.38 and prior, a race condition in mod_auth_digest when running in a threaded server could allow a user with valid credentials to authenticate using another username, bypassing configured access control restrictions.
CVE-2019-0197 6 Apache, Canonical, Fedoraproject and 3 more 12 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Fedora and 9 more 2024-02-04 4.9 MEDIUM 4.2 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was found in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.34 to 2.4.38. When HTTP/2 was enabled for a http: host or H2Upgrade was enabled for h2 on a https: host, an Upgrade request from http/1.1 to http/2 that was not the first request on a connection could lead to a misconfiguration and crash. Server that never enabled the h2 protocol or that only enabled it for https: and did not set "H2Upgrade on" are unaffected by this issue.
CVE-2018-20843 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 6 more 2024-02-04 7.8 HIGH 7.5 HIGH
In libexpat in Expat before 2.2.7, XML input including XML names that contain a large number of colons could make the XML parser consume a high amount of RAM and CPU resources while processing (enough to be usable for denial-of-service attacks).
CVE-2019-3823 5 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 2 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 4 more 2024-02-04 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
libcurl versions from 7.34.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a heap out-of-bounds read in the code handling the end-of-response for SMTP. If the buffer passed to `smtp_endofresp()` isn't NUL terminated and contains no character ending the parsed number, and `len` is set to 5, then the `strtol()` call reads beyond the allocated buffer. The read contents will not be returned to the caller.
CVE-2019-3822 7 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 4 more 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 13 more 2024-02-04 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. The function creating an outgoing NTLM type-3 header (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:Curl_auth_create_ntlm_type3_message()`), generates the request HTTP header contents based on previously received data. The check that exists to prevent the local buffer from getting overflowed is implemented wrongly (using unsigned math) and as such it does not prevent the overflow from happening. This output data can grow larger than the local buffer if very large 'nt response' data is extracted from a previous NTLMv2 header provided by the malicious or broken HTTP server. Such a 'large value' needs to be around 1000 bytes or more. The actual payload data copied to the target buffer comes from the NTLMv2 type-2 response header.
