CVE-2021-38153 3 Apache, Oracle, Quarkus 3 Kafka, Primavera Unifier, Quarkus 2024-02-04 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
Some components in Apache Kafka use `Arrays.equals` to validate a password or key, which is vulnerable to timing attacks that make brute force attacks for such credentials more likely to be successful. Users should upgrade to 2.8.1 or higher, or 3.0.0 or higher where this vulnerability has been fixed. The affected versions include Apache Kafka 2.0.0, 2.0.1, 2.1.0, 2.1.1, 2.2.0, 2.2.1, 2.2.2, 2.3.0, 2.3.1, 2.4.0, 2.4.1, 2.5.0, 2.5.1, 2.6.0, 2.6.1, 2.6.2, 2.7.0, 2.7.1, and 2.8.0.
CVE-2021-41182 7 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 4 more 37 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 34 more 2024-02-04 4.3 MEDIUM 6.1 MEDIUM
jQuery-UI is the official jQuery user interface library. Prior to version 1.13.0, accepting the value of the `altField` option of the Datepicker widget from untrusted sources may execute untrusted code. The issue is fixed in jQuery UI 1.13.0. Any string value passed to the `altField` option is now treated as a CSS selector. A workaround is to not accept the value of the `altField` option from untrusted sources.

CVE-2021-44832 5 Apache, Cisco, Debian and 2 more 22 Log4j, Cloudcenter, Debian Linux and 19 more 2024-02-04 8.5 HIGH 6.6 MEDIUM
Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-beta7 through 2.17.0 (excluding security fix releases 2.3.2 and 2.12.4) are vulnerable to a remote code execution (RCE) attack when a configuration uses a JDBC Appender with a JNDI LDAP data source URI when an attacker has control of the target LDAP server. This issue is fixed by limiting JNDI data source names to the java protocol in Log4j2 versions 2.17.1, 2.12.4, and 2.3.2.
CVE-2021-45105 5 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 44 Log4j, Debian Linux, Cloud Manager and 41 more 2024-02-04 4.3 MEDIUM 5.9 MEDIUM
Apache Log4j2 versions 2.0-alpha1 through 2.16.0 (excluding 2.12.3 and 2.3.1) did not protect from uncontrolled recursion from self-referential lookups. This allows an attacker with control over Thread Context Map data to cause a denial of service when a crafted string is interpreted. This issue was fixed in Log4j 2.17.0, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1.
CVE-2021-31811 3 Apache, Fedoraproject, Oracle 12 Pdfbox, Fedora, Banking Corporate Lending Process Management and 9 more 2024-02-04 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM

CVE-2021-29425 4 Apache, Debian, Netapp and 1 more 60 Commons Io, Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager and 57 more 2024-02-04 5.8 MEDIUM 4.8 MEDIUM
In Apache Commons IO before 2.7, When invoking the method FileNameUtils.normalize with an improper input string, like "//../foo", or "\\..\foo", the result would be the same value, thus possibly providing access to files in the parent directory, but not further above (thus "limited" path traversal), if the calling code would use the result to construct a path value.
CVE-2021-36090 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle 34 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 31 more 2024-02-04 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' zip package.
CVE-2021-35517 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle 27 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 24 more 2024-02-04 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
When reading a specially crafted TAR archive, Compress can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error even for very small inputs. This could be used to mount a denial of service attack against services that use Compress' tar package.
CVE-2021-36374 2 Apache, Oracle 36 Ant, Agile Engineering Data Management, Agile Plm and 33 more 2024-02-04 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
When reading a specially crafted ZIP archive, or a derived formats, an Apache Ant build can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that leads to an out of memory error, even for small inputs. This can be used to disrupt builds using Apache Ant. Commonly used derived formats from ZIP archives are for instance JAR files and many office files. Apache Ant prior to 1.9.16 and 1.10.11 were affected.

When reading a specially crafted TAR archive an Apache Ant build can be made to allocate large amounts of memory that finally leads to an out of memory error, even for small inputs. This can be used to disrupt builds using Apache Ant. Apache Ant prior to 1.9.16 and 1.10.11 were affected.
CVE-2021-37714 4 Jsoup, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 13 Jsoup, Management Services For Element Software And Netapp Hci, Banking Trade Finance and 10 more 2024-02-04 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
jsoup is a Java library for working with HTML. Those using jsoup versions prior to 1.14.2 to parse untrusted HTML or XML may be vulnerable to DOS attacks. If the parser is run on user supplied input, an attacker may supply content that causes the parser to get stuck (loop indefinitely until cancelled), to complete more slowly than usual, or to throw an unexpected exception. This effect may support a denial of service attack. The issue is patched in version 1.14.2. There are a few available workarounds. Users may rate limit input parsing, limit the size of inputs based on system resources, and/or implement thread watchdogs to cap and timeout parse runtimes.
CVE-2021-35515 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle 26 Commons Compress, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Insight and 23 more 2024-02-04 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH

CVE-2020-35728 4 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 1 more 40 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Service Level Manager and 37 more 2024-02-04 6.8 MEDIUM 8.1 HIGH
FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.8 mishandles the interaction between serialization gadgets and typing, related to com.oracle.wls.shaded.org.apache.xalan.lib.sql.JNDIConnectionPool (aka embedded Xalan in org.glassfish.web/javax.servlet.jsp.jstl).
CVE-2020-8908 4 Google, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more 13 Guava, Active Iq Unified Manager, Commerce Guided Search and 10 more 2024-02-04 2.1 LOW 3.3 LOW
A temp directory creation vulnerability exists in all versions of Guava, allowing an attacker with access to the machine to potentially access data in a temporary directory created by the Guava API com.google.common.io.Files.createTempDir(). By default, on unix-like systems, the created directory is world-readable (readable by an attacker with access to the system). The method in question has been marked @Deprecated in versions 30.0 and later and should not be used. For Android developers, we recommend choosing a temporary directory API provided by Android, such as context.getCacheDir(). For other Java developers, we recommend migrating to the Java 7 API java.nio.file.Files.createTempDirectory() which explicitly configures permissions of 700, or configuring the Java runtime's java.io.tmpdir system property to point to a location whose permissions are appropriately configured.
