CVE-2020-1472 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more 2025-10-29 9.3 HIGH 5.5 MEDIUM
An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when an attacker establishes a vulnerable Netlogon secure channel connection to a domain controller, using the Netlogon Remote Protocol (MS-NRPC). An attacker who successfully exploited the vulnerability could run a specially crafted application on a device on the network. To exploit the vulnerability, an unauthenticated attacker would be required to use MS-NRPC to connect to a domain controller to obtain domain administrator access. Microsoft is addressing the vulnerability in a phased two-part rollout. These updates address the vulnerability by modifying how Netlogon handles the usage of Netlogon secure channels. For guidelines on how to manage the changes required for this vulnerability and more information on the phased rollout, see How to manage the changes in Netlogon secure channel connections associated with CVE-2020-1472 (updated September 28, 2020). When the second phase of Windows updates become available in Q1 2021, customers will be notified via a revision to this security vulnerability. If you wish to be notified when these updates are released, we recommend that you register for the security notifications mailer to be alerted of content changes to this advisory. See Microsoft Technical Security Notifications.
CVE-2024-24549 3 Apache, Debian, Fedoraproject 3 Tomcat, Debian Linux, Fedora 2025-10-29 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Denial of Service due to improper input validation vulnerability for HTTP/2 requests in Apache Tomcat. When processing an HTTP/2 request, if the request exceeded any of the configured limits for headers, the associated HTTP/2 stream was not reset until after all of the headers had been processed. This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.0-M16, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.18, from 9.0.0-M1 through 9.0.85, from 8.5.0 through 8.5.98. Other, older, EOL versions may also be affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.0-M17, 10.1.19, 9.0.86 or 8.5.99 which fix the issue.
CVE-2023-38180 2 Fedoraproject, Microsoft 4 Fedora, .net, Asp.net Core and 1 more 2025-10-28 N/A 7.5 HIGH
.NET and Visual Studio Denial of Service Vulnerability
CVE-2023-20867 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Vmware 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Tools 2025-10-28 N/A 3.9 LOW
A fully compromised ESXi host can force VMware Tools to fail to authenticate host-to-guest operations, impacting the confidentiality and integrity of the guest virtual machine.
CVE-2021-44228 12 Apache, Apple, Bentley and 9 more 167 Log4j, Xcode, Synchro and 164 more 2025-10-27 9.3 HIGH 10.0 CRITICAL
Apache Log4j2 2.0-beta9 through 2.15.0 (excluding security releases 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1) JNDI features used in configuration, log messages, and parameters do not protect against attacker controlled LDAP and other JNDI related endpoints. An attacker who can control log messages or log message parameters can execute arbitrary code loaded from LDAP servers when message lookup substitution is enabled. From log4j 2.15.0, this behavior has been disabled by default. From version 2.16.0 (along with 2.12.2, 2.12.3, and 2.3.1), this functionality has been completely removed. Note that this vulnerability is specific to log4j-core and does not affect log4net, log4cxx, or other Apache Logging Services projects.
CVE-2021-30858 3 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject 5 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 2 more 2025-10-27 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
A use after free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in iOS 14.8 and iPadOS 14.8, macOS Big Sur 11.6. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.
CVE-2019-0211 8 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 5 more 27 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 24 more 2025-10-27 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
In Apache HTTP Server 2.4 releases 2.4.17 to 2.4.38, with MPM event, worker or prefork, code executing in less-privileged child processes or threads (including scripts executed by an in-process scripting interpreter) could execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the parent process (usually root) by manipulating the scoreboard. Non-Unix systems are not affected.
CVE-2020-1938 7 Apache, Blackberry, Debian and 4 more 21 Geode, Tomcat, Good Control and 18 more 2025-10-27 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
When using the Apache JServ Protocol (AJP), care must be taken when trusting incoming connections to Apache Tomcat. Tomcat treats AJP connections as having higher trust than, for example, a similar HTTP connection. If such connections are available to an attacker, they can be exploited in ways that may be surprising. In Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.30, 8.5.0 to 8.5.50 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.99, Tomcat shipped with an AJP Connector enabled by default that listened on all configured IP addresses. It was expected (and recommended in the security guide) that this Connector would be disabled if not required. This vulnerability report identified a mechanism that allowed: - returning arbitrary files from anywhere in the web application - processing any file in the web application as a JSP Further, if the web application allowed file upload and stored those files within the web application (or the attacker was able to control the content of the web application by some other means) then this, along with the ability to process a file as a JSP, made remote code execution possible. It is important to note that mitigation is only required if an AJP port is accessible to untrusted users. Users wishing to take a defence-in-depth approach and block the vector that permits returning arbitrary files and execution as JSP may upgrade to Apache Tomcat 9.0.31, 8.5.51 or 7.0.100 or later. A number of changes were made to the default AJP Connector configuration in 9.0.31 to harden the default configuration. It is likely that users upgrading to 9.0.31, 8.5.51 or 7.0.100 or later will need to make small changes to their configurations.
CVE-2021-40438 11 Apache, Broadcom, Debian and 8 more 40 Http Server, Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux and 37 more 2025-10-27 6.8 MEDIUM 9.0 CRITICAL
A crafted request uri-path can cause mod_proxy to forward the request to an origin server choosen by the remote user. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.48 and earlier.
CVE-2021-41773 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 4 Http Server, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 1 more 2025-10-27 4.3 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in a change made to path normalization in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.49. An attacker could use a path traversal attack to map URLs to files outside the directories configured by Alias-like directives. If files outside of these directories are not protected by the usual default configuration "require all denied", these requests can succeed. If CGI scripts are also enabled for these aliased pathes, this could allow for remote code execution. This issue is known to be exploited in the wild. This issue only affects Apache 2.4.49 and not earlier versions. The fix in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.50 was found to be incomplete, see CVE-2021-42013.
CVE-2021-42013 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 5 Http Server, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 2 more 2025-10-27 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
It was found that the fix for CVE-2021-41773 in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.50 was insufficient. This issue only affects Apache 2.4.49 and Apache 2.4.50 and not earlier versions.
CVE-2021-45046 7 Apache, Cvat, Debian and 4 more 61 Log4j, Computer Vision Annotation Tool, Debian Linux and 58 more 2025-10-27 5.1 MEDIUM 9.0 CRITICAL
It was found that the fix to address CVE-2021-44228 in Apache Log4j 2.15.0 was incomplete in certain non-default configurations. This could allows attackers with control over Thread Context Map (MDC) input data when the logging configuration uses a non-default Pattern Layout with either a Context Lookup (for example, $${ctx:loginId}) or a Thread Context Map pattern (%X, %mdc, or %MDC) to craft malicious input data using a JNDI Lookup pattern resulting in an information leak and remote code execution in some environments and local code execution in all environments. Log4j 2.16.0 (Java 8) and 2.12.2 (Java 7) fix this issue by removing support for message lookup patterns and disabling JNDI functionality by default.
CVE-2024-1086 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 2 more 15 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 12 more 2025-10-27 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter: nf_tables component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The nft_verdict_init() function allows positive values as drop error within the hook verdict, and hence the nf_hook_slow() function can cause a double free vulnerability when NF_DROP is issued with a drop error which resembles NF_ACCEPT. We recommend upgrading past commit f342de4e2f33e0e39165d8639387aa6c19dff660.
CVE-2021-30632 2 Fedoraproject, Google 2 Fedora, Chrome 2025-10-24 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Out of bounds write in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 93.0.4577.82 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2021-30633 2 Fedoraproject, Google 2 Fedora, Chrome 2025-10-24 6.8 MEDIUM 9.6 CRITICAL
Use after free in Indexed DB API in Google Chrome prior to 93.0.4577.82 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page.
