CVE-2023-1855 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-02-12 | N/A | 6.3 MEDIUM |
A use-after-free flaw was found in xgene_hwmon_remove in drivers/hwmon/xgene-hwmon.c in the Hardware Monitoring Linux Kernel Driver (xgene-hwmon). This flaw could allow a local attacker to crash the system due to a race problem. This vulnerability could even lead to a kernel information leak problem.
CVE-2022-24810 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Net-snmp | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Net-snmp | 2025-02-11 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
net-snmp provides various tools relating to the Simple Network Management Protocol. Prior to version 5.9.2, a user with read-write credentials can use a malformed OID in a SET to the nsVacmAccessTable to cause a NULL pointer dereference. Version 5.9.2 contains a patch. Users should use strong SNMPv3 credentials and avoid sharing the credentials. Those who must use SNMPv1 or SNMPv2c should use a complex community string and enhance the protection by restricting access to a given IP address range.
CVE-2018-19873 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 1 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Backports and 2 more | 2025-02-11 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
An issue was discovered in Qt before 5.11.3. QBmpHandler has a buffer overflow via BMP data.
CVE-2023-42917 | 4 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 7 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 4 more | 2025-02-10 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |
A memory corruption vulnerability was addressed with improved locking. This issue is fixed in iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2, macOS Sonoma 14.1.2, Safari 17.1.2. Processing web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited against versions of iOS before iOS 16.7.1.
CVE-2021-3667 | 3 Debian, Netapp, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-02-10 | 3.5 LOW | 6.5 MEDIUM |
An improper locking issue was found in the virStoragePoolLookupByTargetPath API of libvirt. It occurs in the storagePoolLookupByTargetPath function where a locked virStoragePoolObj object is not properly released on ACL permission failure. Clients connecting to the read-write socket with limited ACL permissions could use this flaw to acquire the lock and prevent other users from accessing storage pool/volume APIs, resulting in a denial of service condition. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2020-28949 | 4 Debian, Drupal, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Drupal, Fedora and 1 more | 2025-02-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
Archive_Tar through 1.4.10 has :// filename sanitization only to address phar attacks, and thus any other stream-wrapper attack (such as file:// to overwrite files) can still succeed.
CVE-2020-15999 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Freetype and 3 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Freetype and 3 more | 2025-02-05 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 9.6 CRITICAL |

CVE-2023-29469 | 2 Debian, Xmlsoft | 2 Debian Linux, Libxml2 | 2025-02-04 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
An issue was discovered in libxml2 before 2.10.4. When hashing empty dict strings in a crafted XML document, xmlDictComputeFastKey in dict.c can produce non-deterministic values, leading to various logic and memory errors, such as a double free. This behavior occurs because there is an attempt to use the first byte of an empty string, and any value is possible (not solely the '\0' value).

This btrfs_data_container is allocated in 'init_data_container()' via kvmalloc(), which does not zero-fill the memory. Fix this by using kvzalloc() which zeroes out the memory on allocation.
CVE-2024-26917 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2025-02-03 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: Revert "scsi: fcoe: Fix potential deadlock on &fip->ctlr_lock" This reverts commit 1a1975551943f681772720f639ff42fbaa746212. This commit causes interrupts to be lost for FCoE devices, since it changed sping locks from "bh" to "irqsave". Instead, a work queue should be used, and will be addressed in a separate commit. |
