In libxml2 before 2.9.14, several buffer handling functions in buf.c (xmlBuf*) and tree.c (xmlBuffer*) don't check for integer overflows. This can result in out-of-bounds memory writes. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted, multi-gigabyte XML file. Other software using libxml2's buffer functions, for example libxslt through 1.1.35, is affected as well.

CVE-2022-28734 | 2 Gnu, Netapp | 2 Grub2, Active Iq Unified Manager | 2024-11-21 | N/A | 8.1 HIGH |
Out-of-bounds write when handling split HTTP headers; When handling split HTTP headers, GRUB2 HTTP code accidentally moves its internal data buffer point by one position. This can lead to a out-of-bound write further when parsing the HTTP request, writing a NULL byte past the buffer. It's conceivable that an attacker controlled set of packets can lead to corruption of the GRUB2's internal memory metadata.

CVE-2022-26488 | 3 Microsoft, Netapp, Python | 4 Windows, Active Iq Unified Manager, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
In Python before 3.10.3 on Windows, local users can gain privileges because the search path is inadequately secured. The installer may allow a local attacker to add user-writable directories to the system search path. To exploit, an administrator must have installed Python for all users and enabled PATH entries. A non-administrative user can trigger a repair that incorrectly adds user-writable paths into PATH, enabling search-path hijacking of other users and system services. This affects Python (CPython) through 3.7.12, 3.8.x through 3.8.12, 3.9.x through 3.9.10, and 3.10.x through 3.10.2.
CVE-2022-25647 | 4 Debian, Google, Netapp and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Gson, Active Iq Unified Manager and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.7 HIGH |

CVE-2022-24891 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Owasp | 4 Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Weblogic Server and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.4 MEDIUM |
ESAPI (The OWASP Enterprise Security API) is a free, open source, web application security control library. Prior to version 2.3.0.0, there is a potential for a cross-site scripting vulnerability in ESAPI caused by a incorrect regular expression for "onsiteURL" in the **antisamy-esapi.xml** configuration file that can cause "javascript:" URLs to fail to be correctly sanitized. This issue is patched in ESAPI 2.3.0.0. As a workaround, manually edit the **antisamy-esapi.xml** configuration files to change the "onsiteURL" regular expression. More information about remediation of the vulnerability, including the workaround, is available in the maintainers' release notes and security bulletin.
CVE-2022-24823 | 3 Netapp, Netty, Oracle | 5 Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Snapcenter and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 1.9 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |
Netty is an open-source, asynchronous event-driven network application framework. The package `io.netty:netty-codec-http` prior to version 4.1.77.Final contains an insufficient fix for CVE-2021-21290. When Netty's multipart decoders are used local information disclosure can occur via the local system temporary directory if temporary storing uploads on the disk is enabled. This only impacts applications running on Java version 6 and lower. Additionally, this vulnerability impacts code running on Unix-like systems, and very old versions of Mac OSX and Windows as they all share the system temporary directory between all users. Version 4.1.77.Final contains a patch for this vulnerability. As a workaround, specify one's own `java.io.tmpdir` when starting the JVM or use DefaultHttpDataFactory.setBaseDir(...) to set the directory to something that is only readable by the current user.
CVE-2022-24407 | 5 Cyrusimap, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 8 Cyrus-sasl, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |

CVE-2022-23913 | 2 Apache, Netapp | 3 Activemq Artemis, Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Workflow Automation | 2024-11-21 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
In Apache ActiveMQ Artemis prior to 2.20.0 or 2.19.1, an attacker could partially disrupt availability (DoS) through uncontrolled resource consumption of memory.
CVE-2022-23457 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Owasp | 4 Active Iq Unified Manager, Oncommand Workflow Automation, Weblogic Server and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 HIGH | 7.5 HIGH |
ESAPI (The OWASP Enterprise Security API) is a free, open source, web application security control library. Prior to version 2.3.0.0, the default implementation of `Validator.getValidDirectoryPath(String, String, File, boolean)` may incorrectly treat the tested input string as a child of the specified parent directory. This potentially could allow control-flow bypass checks to be defeated if an attack can specify the entire string representing the 'input' path. This vulnerability is patched in release 2.3.0.0 of ESAPI. As a workaround, it is possible to write one's own implementation of the Validator interface. However, maintainers do not recommend this.
CVE-2022-23437 | 3 Apache, Netapp, Oracle | 29 Xerces-j, Active Iq Unified Manager, Agile Engineering Data Management and 26 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.1 HIGH | 6.5 MEDIUM |
There's a vulnerability within the Apache Xerces Java (XercesJ) XML parser when handling specially crafted XML document payloads. This causes, the XercesJ XML parser to wait in an infinite loop, which may sometimes consume system resources for prolonged duration. This vulnerability is present within XercesJ version 2.12.1 and the previous versions.
