Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.6 to 2.4.46 mod_proxy_wstunnel configured on an URL that is not necessarily Upgraded by the origin server was tunneling the whole connection regardless, thus allowing for subsequent requests on the same connection to pass through with no HTTP validation, authentication or authorization possibly configured.
CVE-2021-37147 | 2 Apache, Debian | 2 Traffic Server, Debian Linux | 2024-06-10 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |

CVE-2024-34350 | 2024-05-14 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH
Next.js is a React framework that can provide building blocks to create web applications. Prior to 13.5.1, an inconsistent interpretation of a crafted HTTP request meant that requests are treated as both a single request, and two separate requests by Next.js, leading to desynchronized responses. This led to a response queue poisoning vulnerability in the affected Next.js versions. For a request to be exploitable, the affected route also had to be making use of the [rewrites](https://nextjs.org/docs/app/api-reference/next-config-js/rewrites) feature in Next.js. The vulnerability is resolved in Next.js `13.5.1` and newer.
CVE-2024-27439 | 2024-05-01 | N/A | N/A
An error in the evaluation of the fetch metadata headers could allow a bypass of the CSRF protection in Apache Wicket. This issue affects Apache Wicket: from 9.1.0 through 9.16.0, and the milestone releases for the 10.0 series. Apache Wicket 8.x does not support CSRF protection via the fetch metadata headers and as such is not affected. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.17.0 or 10.0.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2024-27922 | 2024-03-21 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL
TOMP Bare Server implements the TompHTTP bare server. A vulnerability in versions prior to 2.0.2 relates to insecure handling of HTTP requests by the @tomphttp/bare-server-node package. This flaw potentially exposes the users of the package to manipulation of their web traffic. The impact may vary depending on the specific usage of the package but it can potentially affect any system where this package is in use. The problem has been patched in version 2.0.2. As of time of publication, no specific workaround strategies have been disclosed.

CVE-2024-23452 | 1 Apache | 1 Brpc | 2024-02-29 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
Request smuggling vulnerability in HTTP server in Apache bRPC 0.9.5~1.7.0 on all platforms allows attacker to smuggle request. Vulnerability Cause Description: The http_parser does not comply with the RFC-7230 HTTP 1.1 specification. Attack scenario: If a message is received with both a Transfer-Encoding and a Content-Length header field, such a message might indicate an attempt to perform request smuggling or response splitting. One particular attack scenario is that a bRPC made http server on the backend receiving requests in one persistent connection from frontend server that uses TE to parse request with the logic that 'chunk' is contained in the TE field. in that case an attacker can smuggle a request into the connection to the backend server. Solution: You can choose one solution from below: 1. Upgrade bRPC to version 1.8.0, which fixes this issue. Download link: https://github.com/apache/brpc/releases/tag/1.8.0 2. Apply this patch: https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/2518
CVE-2022-21826 | 2 Ivanti, Pulsesecure | 2 Connect Secure, Pulse Connect Secure | 2024-02-27 | N/A | 5.4 MEDIUM |
Pulse Secure version 9.115 and below may be susceptible to client-side http request smuggling, When the application receives a POST request, it ignores the request's Content-Length header and leaves the POST body on the TCP/TLS socket. This body ends up prefixing the next HTTP request sent down that connection, this means when someone loads website attacker may be able to make browser issue a POST to the application, enabling XSS.
CVE-2021-41442 | 1 Dlink | 2 Dir-x1860, Dir-x1860 Firmware | 2024-02-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |

CVE-2021-41451 | 1 Tp-link | 2 Archer Ax10, Archer Ax10 Firmware | 2024-02-14 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
A misconfiguration in HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1 of the web interface in TP-Link AX10v1 before V1_211117 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to send a specially crafted HTTP request and receive a misconfigured HTTP/0.9 response, potentially leading into a cache poisoning attack.
CVE-2024-23829 | 2 Aiohttp, Fedoraproject | 2 Aiohttp, Fedora | 2024-02-09 | N/A | 6.5 MEDIUM |
aiohttp is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Security-sensitive parts of the Python HTTP parser retained minor differences in allowable character sets, that must trigger error handling to robustly match frame boundaries of proxies in order to protect against injection of additional requests. Additionally, validation could trigger exceptions that were not handled consistently with processing of other malformed input. Being more lenient than internet standards require could, depending on deployment environment, assist in request smuggling. The unhandled exception could cause excessive resource consumption on the application server and/or its logging facilities. This vulnerability exists due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2023-47627. Version 3.9.2 fixes this vulnerability.
CVE-2023-47627 | 1 Aiohttp | 1 Aiohttp | 2024-02-05 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
aiohttp is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. The HTTP parser in AIOHTTP has numerous problems with header parsing, which could lead to request smuggling. This parser is only used when AIOHTTP_NO_EXTENSIONS is enabled (or not using a prebuilt wheel). These bugs have been addressed in commit `d5c12ba89` which has been included in release version 3.8.6. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for these issues.

CVE-2023-48365 | 1 Qlik | 1 Qlik Sense | 2024-02-05 | N/A | 9.9 CRITICAL |
Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows before August 2023 Patch 2 allows unauthenticated remote code execution, aka QB-21683. Due to improper validation of HTTP headers, a remote attacker is able to elevate their privilege by tunneling HTTP requests, allowing them to execute HTTP requests on the backend server that hosts the repository application. The fixed versions are August 2023 Patch 2, May 2023 Patch 6, February 2023 Patch 10, November 2022 Patch 12, August 2022 Patch 14, May 2022 Patch 16, February 2022 Patch 15, and November 2021 Patch 17. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2023-41265.
CVE-2023-34037 | 1 Vmware | 1 Horizon Client | 2024-02-05 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |

In uncommon cases, an HTTP/1 server behind HAProxy may interpret the payload as an extra request.
CVE-2023-40175 | 2024-02-05 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL
Puma is a Ruby/Rack web server built for parallelism. Prior to versions 6.3.1 and 5.6.7, puma exhibited incorrect behavior when parsing chunked transfer encoding bodies and zero-length Content-Length headers in a way that allowed HTTP request smuggling. Severity of this issue is highly dependent on the nature of the web site using puma is. This could be caused by either incorrect parsing of trailing fields in chunked transfer encoding bodies or by parsing of blank/zero-length Content-Length headers. Both issues have been addressed and this vulnerability has been fixed in versions 6.3.1 and 5.6.7. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
