CVE-2017-9677 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2025-04-20 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
In all Qualcomm products with Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, in function msm_compr_ioctl_shared, variable "ddp->params_length" could be accessed and modified by multiple threads, while it is not protected with locks. If one thread is running, while another thread is setting data, race conditions will happen. If "ddp->params_length" is set to a big number, a buffer overflow will occur.
CVE-2017-14317 | 1 Xen | 1 Xen | 2025-04-20 | 4.7 MEDIUM | 5.6 MEDIUM |
A domain cleanup issue was discovered in the C xenstore daemon (aka cxenstored) in Xen through 4.9.x. When shutting down a VM with a stubdomain, a race in cxenstored may cause a double-free. The xenstored daemon may crash, resulting in a DoS of any parts of the system relying on it (including domain creation / destruction, ballooning, device changes, etc.).
CVE-2017-11045 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2025-04-20 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
In Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android, with all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, in a camera driver function, a race condition exists which can lead to a Use After Free condition.
CVE-2014-9941 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2025-04-20 | 7.6 HIGH | 7.0 HIGH |
In the Embedded File System in all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, a Time-of-Check Time-of-Use Race Condition vulnerability could potentially exist.
CVE-2017-1000367 | 1 Sudo Project | 1 Sudo | 2025-04-20 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 6.4 MEDIUM |
Todd Miller's sudo version 1.8.20 and earlier is vulnerable to an input validation (embedded spaces) in the get_process_ttyname() function resulting in information disclosure and command execution.
CVE-2017-8262 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2025-04-20 | 7.6 HIGH | 7.0 HIGH |
In all Qualcomm products with Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, in some memory allocation and free functions, a race condition can potentially occur leading to a Use After Free condition.
CVE-2017-7368 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2025-04-20 | 7.6 HIGH | 7.0 HIGH |
In all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, a race condition potentially exists in the ioctl handler of a sound driver.
CVE-2016-3106 | 1 Pulpproject | 1 Pulp | 2025-04-20 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
Pulp before 2.8.3 creates a temporary directory during CA key generation in an insecure manner.
CVE-2017-15038 | 1 Qemu | 1 Qemu | 2025-04-20 | 1.9 LOW | 5.6 MEDIUM |
Race condition in the v9fs_xattrwalk function in hw/9pfs/9p.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator) allows local guest OS users to obtain sensitive information from host heap memory via vectors related to reading extended attributes.
CVE-2017-9708 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2025-04-20 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
In Android for MSM, Firefox OS for MSM, QRD Android, with all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel, in the camera driver, the function "msm_ois_power_down" is called without a mutex and a race condition can occur in variable "*reg_ptr" of sub function "msm_camera_config_single_vreg".
CVE-2017-1000112 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-04-20 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
Linux kernel: Exploitable memory corruption due to UFO to non-UFO path switch. When building a UFO packet with MSG_MORE __ip_append_data() calls ip_ufo_append_data() to append. However in between two send() calls, the append path can be switched from UFO to non-UFO one, which leads to a memory corruption. In case UFO packet lengths exceeds MTU, copy = maxfraglen - skb->len becomes negative on the non-UFO path and the branch to allocate new skb is taken. This triggers fragmentation and computation of fraggap = skb_prev->len - maxfraglen. Fraggap can exceed MTU, causing copy = datalen - transhdrlen - fraggap to become negative. Subsequently skb_copy_and_csum_bits() writes out-of-bounds. A similar issue is present in IPv6 code. The bug was introduced in e89e9cf539a2 ("[IPv4/IPv6]: UFO Scatter-gather approach") on Oct 18 2005.

/usr/libexec/openldap/generate-server-cert.sh in openldap-servers sets weak permissions for the TLS certificate, which allows local users to obtain the TLS certificate by leveraging a race condition between the creation of the certificate, and the chmod to protect it.
CVE-2017-15649 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-04-20 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
net/packet/af_packet.c in the Linux kernel before 4.13.6 allows local users to gain privileges via crafted system calls that trigger mishandling of packet_fanout data structures, because of a race condition (involving fanout_add and packet_do_bind) that leads to a use-after-free, a different vulnerability than CVE-2017-6346.
CVE-2017-9718 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2025-04-20 | 4.4 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
