CVE-2020-25694 | 2 Debian, Postgresql | 2 Debian Linux, Postgresql | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
A flaw was found in PostgreSQL versions before 13.1, before 12.5, before 11.10, before 10.15, before 9.6.20 and before 9.5.24. If a client application that creates additional database connections only reuses the basic connection parameters while dropping security-relevant parameters, an opportunity for a man-in-the-middle attack, or the ability to observe clear-text transmissions, could exist. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-25693 | 2 Cimg, Fedoraproject | 2 Cimg, Fedora | 2024-11-21 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
A flaw was found in CImg in versions prior to 2.9.3. Integer overflows leading to heap buffer overflows in load_pnm() can be triggered by a specially crafted input file processed by CImg, which can lead to an impact to application availability or data integrity.
CVE-2020-25692 | 3 Netapp, Openldap, Redhat | 5 Cloud Backup, Solidfire Baseboard Management Controller, Solidfire Baseboard Management Controller Firmware and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
A NULL pointer dereference was found in OpenLDAP server and was fixed in openldap 2.4.55, during a request for renaming RDNs. An unauthenticated attacker could remotely crash the slapd process by sending a specially crafted request, causing a Denial of Service.
CVE-2020-25691 | 1 Unix4lyfe | 1 Darkhttpd | 2024-11-21 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
A flaw was found in darkhttpd. Invalid error handling allows remote attackers to cause denial-of-service by accessing a file with a large modification date. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2020-25690 | 1 Fontforge | 1 Fontforge | 2024-11-21 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
An out-of-bounds write flaw was found in FontForge in versions before 20200314 while parsing SFD files containing certain LayerCount tokens. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the memory allocated on the heap, causing the application to crash or execute arbitrary code. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-25682 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Thekelleys | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Dnsmasq | 2024-11-21 | 8.3 HIGH | 8.1 HIGH |
A flaw was found in dnsmasq before 2.83. A buffer overflow vulnerability was discovered in the way dnsmasq extract names from DNS packets before validating them with DNSSEC data. An attacker on the network, who can create valid DNS replies, could use this flaw to cause an overflow with arbitrary data in a heap-allocated memory, possibly executing code on the machine. The flaw is in the rfc1035.c:extract_name() function, which writes data to the memory pointed by name assuming MAXDNAME*2 bytes are available in the buffer. However, in some code execution paths, it is possible extract_name() gets passed an offset from the base buffer, thus reducing, in practice, the number of available bytes that can be written in the buffer. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-25681 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Thekelleys | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Dnsmasq | 2024-11-21 | 8.3 HIGH | 8.1 HIGH |
A flaw was found in dnsmasq before version 2.83. A heap-based buffer overflow was discovered in the way RRSets are sorted before validating with DNSSEC data. An attacker on the network, who can forge DNS replies such as that they are accepted as valid, could use this flaw to cause a buffer overflow with arbitrary data in a heap memory segment, possibly executing code on the machine. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-25672 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 23 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 20 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
A memory leak vulnerability was found in Linux kernel in llcp_sock_connect
CVE-2020-25671 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 23 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 20 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel, where a refcount leak in llcp_sock_connect() causing use-after-free which might lead to privilege escalations.
CVE-2020-25670 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 23 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 20 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
A vulnerability was found in Linux Kernel where refcount leak in llcp_sock_bind() causing use-after-free which might lead to privilege escalations.
CVE-2020-25669 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 21 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup and 18 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.2 HIGH | 7.8 HIGH |
A vulnerability was found in the Linux Kernel where the function sunkbd_reinit having been scheduled by sunkbd_interrupt before sunkbd being freed. Though the dangling pointer is set to NULL in sunkbd_disconnect, there is still an alias in sunkbd_reinit causing Use After Free.
CVE-2020-25668 | 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp | 26 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, 500f and 23 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.9 MEDIUM | 7.0 HIGH |
A flaw was found in Linux Kernel because access to the global variable fg_console is not properly synchronized leading to a use after free in con_font_op.
CVE-2020-25661 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 8.3 HIGH | 7.5 HIGH |
A Red Hat only CVE-2020-12351 regression issue was found in the way the Linux kernel's Bluetooth implementation handled L2CAP packets with A2MP CID. This flaw allows a remote attacker in an adjacent range to crash the system, causing a denial of service or potentially executing arbitrary code on the system by sending a specially crafted L2CAP packet. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-25660 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Ceph, Ceph Storage and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.8 MEDIUM | 8.8 HIGH |
A flaw was found in the Cephx authentication protocol in versions before 15.2.6 and before 14.2.14, where it does not verify Ceph clients correctly and is then vulnerable to replay attacks in Nautilus. This flaw allows an attacker with access to the Ceph cluster network to authenticate with the Ceph service via a packet sniffer and perform actions allowed by the Ceph service. This issue is a reintroduction of CVE-2018-1128, affecting the msgr2 protocol. The msgr 2 protocol is used for all communication except older clients that do not support the msgr2 protocol. The msgr1 protocol is not affected. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, and system availability.
