CVE-2024-23831 1 Ledgersmb 1 Ledgersmb 2024-02-10 N/A 7.5 HIGH
LedgerSMB is a free web-based double-entry accounting system. When a LedgerSMB database administrator has an active session in /setup.pl, an attacker can trick the admin into clicking on a link which automatically submits a request to setup.pl without the admin's consent. This request can be used to create a new user account with full application (/login.pl) privileges, leading to privilege escalation. The vulnerability is patched in versions 1.10.30 and 1.11.9.
CVE-2008-4078 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2024-02-09 6.5 MEDIUM N/A
SQL injection vulnerability in the AR/AP transaction report in (1) LedgerSMB (LSMB) before 1.2.15 and (2) SQL-Ledger 2.8.17 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via unspecified vectors.
CVE-2008-4077 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2024-02-09 7.8 HIGH N/A
The CGI scripts in (1) LedgerSMB (LSMB) before 1.2.15 and (2) SQL-Ledger 2.8.17 and earlier allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (resource exhaustion) via an HTTP POST request with a large Content-Length.
CVE-2021-3882 1 Ledgersmb 1 Ledgersmb 2024-02-05 4.0 MEDIUM 6.8 MEDIUM
LedgerSMB does not set the 'Secure' attribute on the session authorization cookie when the client uses HTTPS and the LedgerSMB server is behind a reverse proxy. By tricking a user to use an unencrypted connection (HTTP), an attacker may be able to obtain the authentication data by capturing network traffic. LedgerSMB 1.8 and newer switched from Basic authentication to using cookie authentication with encrypted cookies. Although an attacker can't access the information inside the cookie, nor the password of the user, possession of the cookie is enough to access the application as the user from which the cookie has been obtained. In order for the attacker to obtain the cookie, first of all the server must be configured to respond to unencrypted requests, the attacker must be suitably positioned to eavesdrop on the network traffic between the client and the server *and* the user must be tricked into using unencrypted HTTP traffic. Proper audit control and separation of duties limit Integrity impact of the attack vector. Users of LedgerSMB 1.8 are urged to upgrade to known-fixed versions. Users of LedgerSMB 1.7 or 1.9 are unaffected by this vulnerability and don't need to take action. As a workaround, users may configure their Apache or Nginx reverse proxy to add the Secure attribute at the network boundary instead of relying on LedgerSMB. For Apache, please refer to the 'Header always edit' configuration command in the mod_headers module. For Nginx, please refer to the 'proxy_cookie_flags' configuration command.
CVE-2021-3694 2 Debian, Ledgersmb 2 Debian Linux, Ledgersmb 2024-02-04 6.8 MEDIUM 9.6 CRITICAL
LedgerSMB does not sufficiently HTML-encode error messages sent to the browser. By sending a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user, this flaw can be abused for remote code execution and information disclosure.
CVE-2021-3693 2 Debian, Ledgersmb 2 Debian Linux, Ledgersmb 2024-02-04 6.8 MEDIUM 9.6 CRITICAL
LedgerSMB does not check the origin of HTML fragments merged into the browser's DOM. By sending a specially crafted URL to an authenticated user, this flaw can be abused for remote code execution and information disclosure.
CVE-2021-3731 2 Debian, Ledgersmb 2 Debian Linux, Ledgersmb 2024-02-04 4.3 MEDIUM 4.7 MEDIUM
LedgerSMB does not sufficiently guard against being wrapped by other sites, making it vulnerable to 'clickjacking'. This allows an attacker to trick a targetted user to execute unintended actions.
CVE-2018-9246 2 Ledgersmb, Pgobject-util-dbadmin Project 2 Ledgersmb, Pgobject-util-dbadmin 2024-02-04 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
The PGObject::Util::DBAdmin module before 0.120.0 for Perl, as used in LedgerSMB through 1.5.x, insufficiently sanitizes or escapes variable values used as part of shell command execution, resulting in shell code injection via the create(), run_file(), backup(), or restore() function. The vulnerability allows unauthorized users to execute code with the same privileges as the running application.
CVE-2007-1540 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2024-02-04 4.3 MEDIUM N/A
Directory traversal vulnerability in am.pl in (1) SQL-Ledger 2.6.27 and earlier, and (2) LedgerSMB before 1.2.0, allows remote attackers to run arbitrary executables and bypass authentication via a .. (dot dot) sequence and trailing NULL (%00) in the login parameter. NOTE: this issue was reportedly addressed in SQL-Ledger 2.6.27, however third-party researchers claim that the file is still executed even though an error is generated.
CVE-2007-3907 1 Ledgersmb 1 Ledgersmb 2024-02-04 10.0 HIGH N/A
Unspecified vulnerability in login.pl in LedgerSMB 1.2.0 through 1.2.6 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication and perform certain actions as an arbitrary user via unspecified vectors involving a URL with a redirect parameter value, along with a callback parameter containing an escaped URL that specifies the action.
CVE-2007-5372 2 Dws Systems Inc., Ledgersmb 2 Sql-ledger, Ledgersmb 2024-02-04 10.0 HIGH N/A
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in (a) LedgerSMB 1.0.0 through 1.2.7 and (b) DWS Systems SQL-Ledger 2.x allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via (1) the invoice quantity field or (2) the sort field.
CVE-2007-1329 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2024-02-04 10.0 HIGH N/A
Directory traversal vulnerability in SQL-Ledger, and LedgerSMB before 1.1.5, allows remote attackers to read and overwrite arbitrary files, and execute arbitrary code, via . (dot) characters adjacent to (1) users and (2) users/members strings, which are removed by blacklisting functions that filter these strings and collapse into .. (dot dot) sequences.
CVE-2007-0667 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2024-02-04 6.5 MEDIUM N/A
The redirect function in Form.pm for (1) LedgerSMB before 1.1.5 and (2) SQL-Ledger allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via redirects, related to callbacks, a different issue than CVE-2006-5872.
CVE-2007-1436 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2024-02-04 7.5 HIGH N/A
Unspecified vulnerability in admin.pl in SQL-Ledger before 2.6.26 and LedgerSMB before 1.1.9 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication via unknown vectors that prevents a password check from occurring.
CVE-2007-1437 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2 Ledgersmb, Sql-ledger 2024-02-04 9.0 HIGH N/A
Unspecified vulnerability in LedgerSMB before 1.1.5 and SQL-Ledger before 2.6.25 allows remote attackers to overwrite files and possibly bypass authentication, and remote authenticated users to execute unauthorized code, by calling a custom error function that returns from execution.
