CVE-2002-1233 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-04-03 | 2.6 LOW | N/A |
A regression error in the Debian distributions of the apache-ssl package (before 1.3.9 on Debian 2.2, and before 1.3.26 on Debian 3.0), for Apache 1.3.27 and earlier, allows local users to read or modify the Apache password file via a symlink attack on temporary files when the administrator runs (1) htpasswd or (2) htdigest, a re-introduction of a vulnerability that was originally identified and addressed by CVE-2001-0131.
CVE-2003-0189 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-04-03 | 5.0 MEDIUM | N/A |
The authentication module for Apache 2.0.40 through 2.0.45 on Unix does not properly handle threads safely when using the crypt_r or crypt functions, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (failed Basic authentication with valid usernames and passwords) when a threaded MPM is used.
CVE-2002-0240 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-04-03 | 5.0 MEDIUM | N/A |
PHP, when installed with Apache and configured to search for index.php as a default web page, allows remote attackers to obtain the full pathname of the server via the HTTP OPTIONS method, which reveals the pathname in the resulting error message.
CVE-2003-0987 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-04-03 | 7.5 HIGH | N/A |
mod_digest for Apache before 1.3.31 does not properly verify the nonce of a client response by using a AuthNonce secret.
CVE-2004-1387 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-04-03 | 2.1 LOW | N/A |
The check_forensic script in apache-utils package 1.3.31 allows local users to overwrite or create arbitrary files via a symlink attack on temporary files.
CVE-2002-2272 | 1 Apache | 2 Http Server, Tomcat | 2025-04-03 | 7.8 HIGH | N/A |
Tomcat 4.0 through 4.1.12, using mod_jk 1.2.1 module on Apache 1.3 through 1.3.27, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (desynchronized communications) via an HTTP GET request with a Transfer-Encoding chunked field with invalid values.
CVE-1999-0926 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-04-03 | 10.0 HIGH | N/A |
Apache allows remote attackers to conduct a denial of service via a large number of MIME headers.
CVE-1999-1412 | 2 Apache, Apple | 2 Http Server, Macos | 2025-04-03 | 5.0 MEDIUM | N/A |
A possible interaction between Apple MacOS X release 1.0 and Apache HTTP server allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a flood of HTTP GET requests to CGI programs, which generates a large number of processes.
CVE-2004-1082 | 8 Apache, Apple, Avaya and 5 more | 14 Http Server, Apache Mod Digest Apple, Communication Manager and 11 more | 2025-04-03 | 7.5 HIGH | N/A |
mod_digest_apple for Apache 1.3.31 and 1.3.32 on Mac OS X Server does not properly verify the nonce of a client response, which allows remote attackers to replay credentials.
CVE-2003-1307 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-04-03 | 4.3 MEDIUM | N/A |
** DISPUTED ** The mod_php module for the Apache HTTP Server allows local users with write access to PHP scripts to send signals to the server's process group and use the server's file descriptors, as demonstrated by sending a STOP signal, then intercepting incoming connections on the server's TCP port. NOTE: the PHP developer has disputed this vulnerability, saying "The opened file descriptors are opened by Apache. It is the job of Apache to protect them ... Not a bug in PHP."
CVE-2024-38474 | 2 Apache, Netapp | 2 Http Server, Clustered Data Ontap | 2025-03-25 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
Substitution encoding issue in mod_rewrite in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.59 and earlier allows attacker to execute scripts in directories permitted by the configuration but not directly reachable by any URL or source disclosure of scripts meant to only to be executed as CGI. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.60, which fixes this issue. Some RewriteRules that capture and substitute unsafely will now fail unless rewrite flag "UnsafeAllow3F" is specified.
CVE-2021-41773 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 4 Http Server, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 1 more | 2025-03-21 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
A flaw was found in a change made to path normalization in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.49. An attacker could use a path traversal attack to map URLs to files outside the directories configured by Alias-like directives. If files outside of these directories are not protected by the usual default configuration "require all denied", these requests can succeed. If CGI scripts are also enabled for these aliased pathes, this could allow for remote code execution. This issue is known to be exploited in the wild. This issue only affects Apache 2.4.49 and not earlier versions. The fix in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.50 was found to be incomplete, see CVE-2021-42013.
CVE-2021-42013 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 5 Http Server, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 2 more | 2025-03-21 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
It was found that the fix for CVE-2021-41773 in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.50 was insufficient. This issue only affects Apache 2.4.49 and Apache 2.4.50 and not earlier versions.
CVE-2024-38477 | 2 Apache, Netapp | 2 Http Server, Clustered Data Ontap | 2025-03-18 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
null pointer dereference in mod_proxy in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.59 and earlier allows an attacker to crash the server via a malicious request. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.60, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2024-40725 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-03-14 | N/A | 5.3 MEDIUM |
A partial fix for CVE-2024-39884 in the core of Apache HTTP Server 2.4.61 ignores some use of the legacy content-type based configuration of handlers. "AddType" and similar configuration, under some circumstances where files are requested indirectly, result in source code disclosure of local content. For example, PHP scripts may be served instead of interpreted. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.62, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2023-43622 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-02-13 | N/A | 7.5 HIGH |
An attacker, opening a HTTP/2 connection with an initial window size of 0, was able to block handling of that connection indefinitely in Apache HTTP Server. This could be used to exhaust worker resources in the server, similar to the well known "slow loris" attack pattern. This has been fixed in version 2.4.58, so that such connection are terminated properly after the configured connection timeout. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: from 2.4.55 through 2.4.57. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.58, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2023-25690 | 1 Apache | 1 Http Server | 2025-02-13 | N/A | 9.8 CRITICAL |
Some mod_proxy configurations on Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.55 allow a HTTP Request Smuggling attack. Configurations are affected when mod_proxy is enabled along with some form of RewriteRule or ProxyPassMatch in which a non-specific pattern matches some portion of the user-supplied request-target (URL) data and is then re-inserted into the proxied request-target using variable substitution. For example, something like: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule "^/here/(.*)" "http://example.com:8080/elsewhere?$1"; [P] ProxyPassReverse /here/ http://example.com:8080/ Request splitting/smuggling could result in bypass of access controls in the proxy server, proxying unintended URLs to existing origin servers, and cache poisoning. Users are recommended to update to at least version 2.4.56 of Apache HTTP Server. |
