CVE-2023-46281 1 Siemens 4 Opcenter Quality, Simatic Pcs Neo, Sinumerik Integrate Runmyhmi \/automotive and 1 more 2024-05-14 N/A 8.8 HIGH
A vulnerability has been identified in Opcenter Quality (All versions < V2312), SIMATIC PCS neo (All versions < V4.1), SINEC NMS (All versions < V2.0 SP1), Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) V14 (All versions), Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) V15.1 (All versions), Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) V16 (All versions), Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) V17 (All versions < V17 Update 7), Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA Portal) V18 (All versions < V18 Update 3). When accessing the UMC Web-UI from affected products, UMC uses an overly permissive CORS policy. This could allow an attacker to trick a legitimate user to trigger unwanted behavior.
CVE-2023-38125 2024-05-03 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Softing edgeAggregator Permissive Cross-domain Policy with Untrusted Domains Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Softing edgeAggregator. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the configuration of the web server. The issue results from the lack of appropriate Content Security Policy headers. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-20542.
CVE-2023-38122 2024-05-03 N/A 7.2 HIGH
Inductive Automation Ignition OPC UA Quick Client Permissive Cross-domain Policy Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Inductive Automation Ignition. Although authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability, the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed. The specific flaw exists within the configuration of the web server. The issue results from the lack of appropriate Content Security Policy headers. An attacker can leverage this in conjunction with other vulnerabilities to execute code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-20539.
CVE-2024-23823 2024-03-14 N/A 4.2 MEDIUM
vantage6 is an open source framework built to enable, manage and deploy privacy enhancing technologies like Federated Learning and Multi-Party Computation. The vantage6 server has no restrictions on CORS settings. It should be possible for people to set the allowed origins of the server. The impact is limited because v6 does not use session cookies. This issue has been addressed in commit `70bb4e1d8` and is expected to ship in subsequent releases. Users are advised to upgrade as soon as a new release is available. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
CVE-2024-25124 2024-02-22 N/A 9.4 CRITICAL
Fiber is a web framework written in go. Prior to version 2.52.1, the CORS middleware allows for insecure configurations that could potentially expose the application to multiple CORS-related vulnerabilities. Specifically, it allows setting the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header to a wildcard (`*`) while also having the Access-Control-Allow-Credentials set to true, which goes against recommended security best practices. The impact of this misconfiguration is high as it can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive user data and expose the system to various types of attacks listed in the PortSwigger article linked in the references. Version 2.52.1 contains a patch for this issue. As a workaround, users may manually validate the CORS configurations in their implementation to ensure that they do not allow a wildcard origin when credentials are enabled. The browser fetch api, as well as browsers and utilities that enforce CORS policies, are not affected by this.
CVE-2023-45213 1 Westermo 2 L206-f2g, L206-f2g Firmware 2024-02-12 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
A potential attacker with access to the Westermo Lynx device would be able to execute malicious code that could affect the correct functioning of the device.
CVE-2023-46098 1 Siemens 1 Simatic Pcs Neo 2024-02-05 N/A 8.8 HIGH
A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC PCS neo (All versions < V4.1). When accessing the Information Server from affected products, the products use an overly permissive CORS policy. This could allow an attacker to trick a legitimate user to trigger unwanted behavior.
CVE-2023-25603 1 Fortinet 2 Fortiadc, Fortiddos-f 2024-02-05 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
A permissive cross-domain policy with untrusted domains vulnerability in Fortinet FortiADC 7.1.0 - 7.1.1, FortiDDoS-F 6.3.0 - 6.3.4 and 6.4.0 - 6.4.1 allow an unauthorized attacker to carry out privileged actions and retrieve sensitive information via crafted web requests.
CVE-2023-50940 1 Ibm 1 Powersc 2024-02-02 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
IBM PowerSC 1.3, 2.0, and 2.1 uses Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) which could allow an attacker to carry out privileged actions and retrieve sensitive information as the domain name is not being limited to only trusted domains. IBM X-Force ID: 275130.
